With a stellar line-up for this year’s Halifax Comedy Festival, it’s no surprise that everyone is talking about it and the buzz across the media has been fantastic! There’s been lots to shout about in the lead up to this year’s programme, from announcing the festival headliners to promoting the huge variety of events which include world-class stand-up shows, comedy clubs, workshops and free family-friendly performances.
We’ve had some fab coverage so far which you may have seen – from local articles in the Halifax Courier, Yorkshire Post and Keighley News, to listings on national comedy hubs including Chortle and the British Comedy Guide and mentions on national ‘What’s on’ websites such as Ents 24. Our fantastic launch event comic – the hugely talented Adam Hills (of C4’s The Last Leg fame) even gave us a great shout out on BBC Radio 2 – thanks Adam!
You may also have heard some great previews of the festival on Pulse1 FM – our fantastic media partner for this year’s festival – and they’ve been running a series of exciting ticket giveaways every week throughout September. Make sure you stay tuned to 97.5 FM between now and the festival to hear more about this year’s must-see events.
Continue to keep your eyes and ears peeled over the next few weeks as we enter the final countdown for the festival – and get ready for a seriously funny week of humour and hilarity in Halifax this October!
