We’re pleased to announce the full line-up for the third annual Halifax Comedy Festival, with just about a month to go before the festival kicks off!
The festival will run from the 20-28th of October, with six venues from across Halifax taking part and having their own unique programme of events.
As we’ve previously announced, we’re pleased to have Sara Pascoe, Richard Herring and Lee Nelson headlining our event, but we’re also pleased to have some other big names on the bill!
Daliso Chaponda, who you may have seen in the final of Britain’s Got Talent will be playing at the Victoria Theatre, as well as hot favourite Ed Gamble, seen on Mock the Week, and Rob Rouse, who has graced our screens on BBC Two sitcom Upstart Crow.
As well as top comedians we’re also happy to have some fantastic acts and plays. Musical fans will love our Sing-a long-a Rocky Horror Picture Show where you can join in with the singing and are encouraged to dress up! Audience members are also asked to get involved with George Egg: DIY Chef as George cooks food with tools he’s found in his shed, and asks you to take a bite!
A trip to Halifax wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the newly opened Piece Hall where we have a free and funny half hour tour of the Thermos Museum. We’ll also be celebrating the heritage of Halifax with a comedy gig at the Halifax Minster, with Justin Moorhouse, Paul Tonkinson and Howard Read trying (and failing) to behave at The Halifax Minster.
There really is something for everyone!
